Hi, my name is Alex Maley. I am an EIC of Tidelines. I play the trumpet and piano in various music ensembles. My other interests include traveling, shopping, and relaxing on the beach. After high school I plan on moving to Myrtle Beach to sell residential real estate.

Roses are a symbol of many things, especially when you are caring for someone. In this case students were able to purchase roses to show they care for their upperclassman while they leave PAHS. “I have so many senior friends, therefore I’m going to miss a lot of them next year. I think it will be weird walking the hallway next year and not seeing them”, said sophomore Kenzie Androshick.

Many people in PAHS are members of the Marching Band. Before a game the band practices their routines at the middle school and then they march up to the high school stadium. “As the next twirling season is coming up, we are continuing to practice and are learning new combinations,”said sophomore majorette, Chloe Heintz.

Senior Julia Malek, who plays Cinderella, is rehearsing sitting in her carriage as she makes her trip to the royal ball. She said, “While I am disappointed the show was postponed, I truly think that what we’ve made is magical. It’s a beautiful show, and I’m so honoured to be a part of it.”

Students in the EMT class do hands-on work such as performing CPR on a dummy. The class can make someone certified in CPR and can also lead to a future in the medical field. Senior Jamilah Philip-Johnson said, “Being in the EMT course is different from any class I’ve had before. The beginning of the year was mainly learning from book, which was important since we need to know specific terms. Now that we are nearing the end of the year, we have way more hands-on learning. We also have after school sessions that show us exactly what to do for various situations. Unlike other teachers Mr.Moran is able to show us exactly how he works as an emergency medical technician”

Trinity Lutheran Church takes COVID-19 restrictions very seriously. Instead of an in-person service, a drive by communion was done along with a blessing. “At the beginning of Lent I went to Ash Wednesday mass with my parents to which started the season,” said freshman Emma Seiger.

Make r. Maley sits nervously on top of a dunk tank platform and waits to be dunk= ed into the cold water. This was a challenge done by the reading department at the elementary to see how many books students could read. Maley said, “I was told that they have a decent turn-out, but we really wanted to get more kids reading. We are also trying to keep the virtual students engaged.”

Senior Allison Campion drops off a Thanksgiving basket for someone in need. The foods and non-perishables were donated by club members. Fellow club member, Chloe Heintz said, “It feels so good to donate and give back to the community especially in such a time like this.”

After being crowned, the two stand together in excitement, as they will become future role models of PAHS. “I ran for homecoming king because I asked my friends if I should run and they said yes, you would win,” senior Golden said.
