Mrs. Butz is a life skills teacher at DHHL, and she teaches in room 104. Mrs. Butz taught preschool before she decided to work at DHH Lengel. She had three dogs, but unfortunately, now she only has one. The dogs’ names were Max – a husky, Princess – a husky lab mix, and the dog she still has is Winnie who is a Chihuahua. Her favorite color is lime green. She likes to teach because she loves making a positive difference in children’s lives and sharing their accomplishments with them. She became a teacher because she loves working with children.

Her favorite food is spaghetti, and her favorite TV show is “Impractical Jokers.” Her favorite sport is basketball, and her birthday is March 29th. I asked her what she liked to do in her free time, and she said, “What is free time? I have 3 very active daughters.” Their names are Peyton (6th grade), McKenzie (11th grade), and Aria. Two of them attend Pottsville Area School District, so she spends most of her time at cheerleading, soccer, basketball, and softball events.
