Students are asked whether or not they were in the christmas spirit this holiday season.

While bending down to the water fountain on the third floor, junior Hannah Duncan drinks out of the fountain. Students are not allowed have water bottles on them, so they must drink out of the fountain. “I dont like drinking out of the water fountains because they are dirty and people put their mouths on them.” junior Hannah Duncan said. “The water does not taste bad, but I would just rather bring a water bottle in my bookbag.”

Standing at roughly six feet tall, the Christmas tree at Garfield Square shines brightly. Sophomore and band member Lakota Brode was among the spectators who went to see the lighting of the tree. “Being at the tree lighting felt as if I was playing a solo in front of 50 people. My favorite part was when we finished early and started playing spirit stick,” Brode said.
