Student Spotlight: Eily Painter

Eily Painter has really enjoyed her first year at DHH Lengel Middle School. Eily grew up in Philadelphia, and last year moved to Pottsville. If Eily could describe herself in one word, it would be energetic. Eily plays club volleyball for East Coast Power Volleyball, and when asked why she plays volleyball, she said because playing volleyball just makes her happy.

Have you ever heard of someone named Eily? Well, I haven’t, and when asked what she would change her name to, she said Rose because it is a really pretty name. Eily loves playing sports, but if she could change anything she would have tried harder in some of her sporting events. Her favorite color is blue, which is why she loves everything blue! Eily loves to watch movies, and if she could star in any movie, it would be “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.” If Eily could trade places with anyone, it would be her mom because she would want to experience what it is like to be a speech therapist for babies.

Eily is super funny and kind. You should try and get to know her sometime!
