Brenna Kitchenman is a sophomore. She took her first art class last year because the art classes at her previous school, St. Clair, were cut out of curriculum. She loves creating art in her free time.
This piece is entitled “The Dead Bear.” She worked diligently on the project for a week and a half. Her favorite band, “Grateful Dead,” inspired her to create this. This bear-shaped mug is supposed to look like their logo.

“I have completed Foundations of Art and Drawing 1. Right now, I am in Ceramics 1.”

“It is a mug, shaped and colored like a bear.”
3. What mediums did you use to compile this piece?
“It was created with clay, and then it was glazed.”
4. When did you discover your love for art?
“I have been interested in art ever since I was younger.”
5. Do you plan on pursuing an art career in your future?
“I have thought about it, but I am not quite sure yet what I want to do.”
